Sometimes we get asked to do reverse engineering.  As usual, not the most easy job. One of the hardest parts to fabricate, was the section right behind the collector. It goes from round to flat inside of a bend and even a little out of center. Quite a challenge to make that at all, let alone to make it look nice. Another challenge was that the headers had to be true equal length and still had to look like the original. Do we for a change have a car with some room in the engine bay; we get limited by the original design.

Eventually, even with true equal length and limited by the original design restriction, we managed to make it 4 kilo’s lighter than the original. And besides that, don’t you think the new one looks way better?
